Propaganda Posters

During its rule in Indonesia, the Japanese government used posters with delightful designs to assert its power and provoke support during the war. Posters with strong visuals were effective propaganda media because they easily circulated the propaganda to Indonesians, most of whom were illiterate (Budiarto 2021: 54).
